The spring production in 2010 was Wonderland, an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's stories by NCS theater director Ryan Joyce. It was the perfect expression of the predominant theme of the 2009 – 2010 theatre season: the process of self-discovery through imagination. Wonderland is also the quintessential embodiment of the type of school we are, the distinctive program we offer, and unique students we serve. With all its technical complexity, range of colorful characters, and thought-provoking manipulations of reality, Wonderland was a production we simply had to put on. It fit our ultimate goal for our theatre program: to challenge our students and stretch their perception of what they are able to perform, create, and achieve. Watch the trailer (above right).
