Woodshop

After students design projects within their ability level, they cut, fit, and assemble their pieces, most often with hand tools.  In recent classes students have made a cabinet with hinged shelves, an electric guitar, several sleds, cutting boards, a coffee table, a hobby horse, folding chairs, a small box with a secret compartment, and numerous products from the lathe: bowls, lamps, and baseball bats.
